“Ride Of Hope” Mission
The Muscogee County Autism Support Group, Inc. (MCASG) will participate in the Bike Ride Across Georgia (BRAG) to raise awareness for all Georgians with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The Muscogee County Autism Support Group (MCASG), Inc. looks forward to joining individuals with autism spectrum disorder and their families in enjoying our great state in a unique and extraordinary way. We will bike across Georgia spreading autism awareness and support with each mile that is pedaled. Many new friends will be made along the way as we stop to offer support to those living with autism on back country roads and on busy city streets.

Those unable to join the ride can participate by pledging funds to our riders. Funds raised will support MCASG events supporting the autism community.

“Facts about ASD”

* Autism is a complex neurological disorder that affects 1 out of every 150    children.
* Georgia rates are even higher at 1 out of  every 131 children.
* Autism usually appears by the age of  3  years old.
* Boys outnumber girls  4 to 1.
* Another  child is diagnosed with autism every 20 minutes.

“What a penny will provide”

*A penny a mile will provide a therapeutic toy.

*$1.00 a mile will provide an educational seminar or workshop for parents to help their loved ones affected with autism.

*$2.00 a mile will provide a child’s tuition for a month at the Autism Hope Center.

*$3.00 a mile will provide a diagnostic testing for autism spectrum disorder.
